New Pleco's ! ( L162 )

Today I picked up two new pleco's . They are L162 Panaque Maccus . Next week I will get at least 2 more . Possibly 4 more ! Gonna try to get a colony started . Put them in my River tank . NO , I do not have pictures ! I put them in the 6 foot river tank and * POOF * they be gone ! LMAO ! Next week I will take some pics of those new ones B-4 they go into the tank !!!

Do you have lots of wood in the tank? Panaque maccus like wood and a lot of it, so don't be sparing. They don't hide all the time and they will definitely come out for food. But maybe you already know all this! *lol*

I've got 75 gallon that I call the Panaque Woodpile. They squabble among themselves, occasionally, especially about caves, but get along very well with the other fish.

In the 6 foot long river tank , I have maybe 3 foot of wood . When I add the new ones next week , I will add several "caves" . They are too cool ! So far , I only see the 2 at Low light conditions .

Yes they do !! I get to see them with minimal lighting . Not enough to take a picture . When I pick up the rest this week , I will take pics B-4 I put them in the system ! LOL
