| I had my Blue Gene Jack Dempsey x Blue Gene Jack Dempsey spawn about 2-3 months ago and have the fry growing out now some of them are reaching a 1 inch mark so I figured it would be a good time to see if anyone wanted some. I am asking no trades for them or money completely free , I am not going to ship them so local pickup only.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| It's now I curse the US is so large, for BDJ's I would have dedicated one of my spare tanks.
Smiles.. back in the UK folks shy away from driving 2-3 hours, from what I've read, to get a batch of jueveniles, and I must admit I probably would have, now I live here, I'm quite happy to drive for 2 hours or so to Boss Mans, to pick up some of the C.A.S.T. fish when I can, hopefully in about a month. As an aside, England fits in to Texas 5 times, the whole of the UK fits in 3 times. Maximum drive to get to get to the coast is 2 hours. However, gas costs about $7 a gallon (I'm maybe off there a bit, it's been a year since I was back home), however we generally drive 4 cylinder cars that do 35+ per gallon, and buy a Diesel and get 50+ easily... and it doesn't sound like a tractor! |

| So these are blue gene carriers for sure? If so, I might make a trip to VA! |

| A electric blue x blue gene = ebjd and bgjd a bgjd x bgjd = normal , ebjd and bgjd
So there is a mixture of normals and bgjd in there but its imposible to know which is which , I have a new spawn coming up and if I get some ebjd from it I will giving those away as well. |

| Well I posted it in chapter because I was only considering given them to people that lived within 30 minutes of me. Sorry to sound rude but I was mostly likely going to take them to a LFS and give them to them for free "Since there not 100% bgjd or ebjd" but figured I would ask if anyone wanted them , that would be coming to our meetings. Was not a post for everyone , sorry for the confusion next time I will be more specific. |

Not entirely true. Bgjdxbgjd can produce ebjd but at a very small percentage. It Is a recessive gene.9 times out of ten you will get BGJD and jd. **********USAfishbox.com************* My Tanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| I am not entirely sure what you are correcting flippercon, I think your saying that a bgjd pair will produce ebjd which I know kinda the only ones I want. If you are posting on the 2nd part of the paragraph I was pointing out the fact that all my ebjd had already all died and I had only normal looking jd , due to my tank shattering , stress , or just being week. |

| Your calculations are a bit misleading. BgjdxBgjd does not always produce ebjd. Yes they do produce Jd and BGJD. Your formula from above a bgjd x bgjd = normal , ebjd and bgjd The second listed is ebjd... Doesn't happen as often as that. Not correcting you in any way, just didn't want others to think bgjdxbgjd will produce ebjd every spawn. Everyone would have ebjds if It were that easy. **********USAfishbox.com************* My Tanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Oh ok I just stuck it in there in no order , I guess I should have posted a percentage chart up there but was just too lazy to do it way late at night haha.
I will now be trying to spawn my ebjd with one of these guys/girls lol it may work wonderfully but may work horribly. If it is successful then I would be more than happy to give these offspring to anyone who may want them. |
