Ok so today I put my 75g future Discus tank together to get it cycled with one bag of live freshwater cycled black gravel. My question is. I have three BN plecos that are right now in separate tanks. One is a brown one and the other two are Albinos. Since they haven't before been house together can they be put in the Discus tank together or will they fight?

i have done it in the past and shouldnt be too big of a deal as long as they all can get food and have a place to call home. **********USAfishbox.com************* www.holeyrockoftexas.com

I have 3 large males in a 55g with my African cichlids and I don't have any problem with them fighting in there.I also had 7 in a 29g and never saw them fight.I think you will be ok in 75g.

Even though they have never been together? Should I introduce them one at a time or all at once?

I usually just put mine in together. Have never had a problem with any of them fighting and have moved from one tank to another without a problem. **********USAfishbox.com*************

Just make sure there are plenty of "hidey holes" for them all and they will be fine !

Ok I will. Then the other thing is I just put small sized black gravel/sand in the tank. Will the plecos suck that up and get sick from it?
