I took these and at first I thought they were baby turbos but after loading them I noticed some are shaped like Narcissus lol why would a turbo have baby Narcissus stuck to him? maybe Narcissus are parasitic and the babies live in the host snails shell in this case a turbo until big enough to emerge?
these look like tiny white specks to the naked eye.
notice in the pics the Narcissus are tucked in all around the turbo.

That is too cool! I thought you were one of the few reefers who got snails to breed!

alk, they are very tricky to ID so if you have no turbo's yours are probably baby snails. these guys try to replicate thier host.
the snails do breed easily here are some Narcissus eggs.

Suspect things look nasty.... ya see the thing is the shells on these "baby snails" look nothing like the margaritas shells...
the margarita shells are more dome or round shaped (common snail shell shaped)

the baby snails have more of a spiraled coned shape to em...like dwarf cerith snails do.........................
were can they have come from?

they could have come from anywhere most likely your live rock.
I bought 3 med size pieces of LR a week and a half ago and so far
I have seen a sea squirt, sea cucumber, sea fans and that cool Nudi and a crab
just from these 3 pieces. thats what I love about this Hobby you never know whats gonna show up. well and selling frags to pay for my addiction and then some:)
