| Which is better? the kind the sticks on the outside of the glass, or one that goes in the tank? |

| I would say the type that goes inside your tank that way it picks up a more accurate temp. |

| I'm not a big fan of those sticker types that you put on the tanks. Never can get a good feel for the actual number value. I just stick with the 'el cheapo' regular thermometers that you can suction cup to the inside. |

| I got one of those digital thermometers with a probe that goes inside the tank and read outside. It works very well and adjust very quickly to any change in temp. Those stick on thermometers are OK. When comparing to the inside tank temp. with the stick on one it was within 1 degree and most times less then that. So for an average tamp I still trust the stick on and for $2 that's not bad haha. |
