Hey guys,
My name is Andrew and I'm a full time student at UNR and live just up the hill from campus. I've been dealing with tropical and brackish water fish for almost 11 years now. I currently have a 60 gallon Tropical community (not including the rescue bumblebee catfish and orange eater) The tank mates are as follows: 1 B. Rainbow, 1 Goldfish, 18 Neon Tetras 1 of which is a Cardinal, 5 Diamond Tetras, 2 Cory Cats Emerald and Albino, 2 Glass Cats, 4 Pearl Gouramis, approx. 7 Mixed Platties (with some recent fry in there), 1 Hatchet, 1 Talking Cat, and 1 Lace Catfish. I run a Fluval 305 w/ammonia reducer and have an almost problem free tank for the 4 years it has been running now. The black sand can make a mess sometime but that about all the grief i've seen out of all those trouble makers.

In my kitchen I have a 10 gallon Brackish set up with 2 Green Spotted Puffers (Rocky and Bullwinkle) and 1 Fiddler Crab which they refuse to eat. Gotta love that puff personality! I run a Marineland Penguin 150 w/ 2 filter pads and use Instant Ocean for salt. To monitor the brackish water symmetry I use the Oceanic Mini Hydrometer.

Yes neons and live bearers come and go. (except for my black bar endlers which I now have 2 - 10 gal tanks full of and started with 10 fish)
