Uh even with that I wouldn't be able to tell. Some of them are way too similar. Frontosa???? good luck. My sure way, get six grow em up and let em pair off. No scientist needed However, some fish are easier then others.

do a cat call at them and see which one slaps you in the face. that one would be the female.
