    im having problem with my tank everyday i have too clean tank glass because brown spot all over it.I had my water tested it was fine

    is your tank new?
    sounds like diatoms cut back on feeding you a can also cut the lighting back.

    Sounds like diatom algea. Could be from high nitrates or lights on too long.
    How long has your tank been running?

    we really need to know more about your setup.
    tank size stock list. filtration what lighting are you using and what are your params right now? how lond has this tank been running?

    High nitrates maybe high phosphates.Don't use tap water ,always has nitrates so when you do a water change to lower nitrates always use RO water.You can't lower nitrates with water with high nitrates already.

    its diatomes.
    a regular light period would be like 7-8 hours a day. i use to have em all over my pico cuz i had the light on foir like 9 hrs. i vut back to 7 and not any diatomes anywere!
    that and i bought a cpl of dwarf cerith snails they do the job and get it done:)
