| It's a shame people hurt animals no excuses or reason If you are hunting and fire your gun I 100% believe you should without question know what the target is before firing common sense and safety something everyone should keep in mind when handling a firearm not just BANG ohh it's someones pet not a deer my fault lets just leave it there to suffer.I hope they find the reckless no good person who did it and see justice for this animal and it's owners. | |

| I'm a hunter and I agree. You should ALWAYS know what your target is. They knew full well what they were shooting at. It's nearly impossible to mistake a dog for anything other than a coyote or wolf. It is also ridiculous to think that they left the dog. If you make a mistake, man up. | |

| I feel bad for the dog ...TOTALY wrong but I am not going to lie..If I was in the woods hunting and I seen that from a distance I would have maybe made the same mistake. Whos to say I wouldent have. The dog dose look like a wolf to me from 30-40yds away. I am taking that shot.
I do not hunt, Unless its for eating I think hunting is wrong.
If someone did do this on purpose. Like M. Vick they should spend some time bubba! | |

| I don't see how that could be a mistake unless it was 'wolf season'. I know that there is a time when you can shoot coyotes but if you were truly aiming to kill something you would go look for it after you shot it and if that were the case .... why not put it out of it's misery instead of leaving it to suffer if you aren't man enough to say you made a mistake. | |

| I agree. I don't think it was a mistake. I think whoever did it..knew what they were doing. They should spend time with bubba! | |

| sick son of a female dog, GRR... I would of possible make the same mistake too. but my common sense, logic and reason would say okay lets go make sure what it is just to make sure, and if it's a wolf well a animal but a wolf is a wolf, and if I see it's a dog oh no I shot a dog.. search for the nearest vet/animal hospital HI I was out hunting and I accidentally shot this dog sense my vision is bad, I thought it was a wolf I was "X" feet/yards away and couldn't see it clearly..... it's not the point that it was shoot, mistakes happen.. the point is that some sick son of a (censored) shoot it and didn't do anything about it and left for dead..( well that is what could of happened, lucky it had a person find it..) I hope the dog recovers and they find who ever did it and shoot him/her/them in the leg. | |
