I learned something new and fun from a stripper today! dance Don't we always? lol!

Fern came by today to show me how she strips, but she forgot to bring her stripper pole. I got pics of the whole thing! tounge1 you wish

so I lent her a q-tip instead, and she proceeded to show me how to strip my holding xmas fulu girl

I have vids too but it was far too big to upload in photobucket.

When she finished, I started counting the little wigglers.
She says, take a pic and then count them in the pic.
I said, OH, you must've done this before.. Rolling Eyes
She said, yeah, once or twice.. rofl

Then we made a redneck tumbler using a thimble, and empty tube of toothpaste, a battery watch and an empty colonoscopy bag. Oh no wait, that was an old episode of McGyver. crazy

But we did make one using a strainer, tub, air pump n tube, and twisties. Now i've got 41 lil wigglers in there!

They are exactly 2 weeks old and still have a tiny bit of yolk left. Figure they'll be done with that in about a day or two.

    Here are some pics.

Reset the tank for them, since we had to move stuff around to get her out. Now the male is in spawning color and is trying to make me more wigglers! banana dance

I always say, hanging out with strippers is great fun! :)

didn't have a tank available to move the mother into, and the fry were already wigglers, so didn't want to take the chance of losing them.

they don't need to be in the tumbler long since they are almost free swimming. if they were still just eggs it would be a different story.

    haha haha haha haha
Well Joe did you enjoy your first stripping lesson? funny
But ya I could tell she was close to spitting them and stripping was not necessary... But it was a perfect time to teach how its done..... I had to figure it out on my own Suspect
But ya when that egg sack is used up feed them once or twice in the strainer then let them go in the tub. You got that sponge filter running in your big tank? Put that in the tub in about 3-4 days, daily small water changes till then. Your prolly gonna want to get a clear turkey baster for cleaning up the bottom.
Oh next time I come by I'm prolly gonna bring your dog some more toys
    funny
