PostSubject: New member here :)   10/9/2010, 9:55 pm

Hey Guys, kinda stumbled onto this site by surfing the net. I have over 2 years experience in the hobby and belong to several other forums as well. As far as only being in the hobby only a few years I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to corals and information. I would like to give as much advise as I can to help out. I currently just sold my over stocked 90gal and upgraded to a 180gal. Everything is in my 120gal frag tank awaiting the tank to finish the cycle.

Nathan...

As of right now, I have a 120gal 3'X4' frag tank holding all of my corals and fish. I have a 180gal that has another month 2 finish its cycling.A friend and I did all the rock work ourselves. We used about 200lbs of crushed coral and about 150lbs of cement. Mixed together and attached to the pvc structer that i had made. I wanted to have an entire "Underwater REEF" look so thats y I went with the rock walls. The entire back, one side and the shelves are one piece of rock. Also not 2 mention that the floor is also one piece of rock to make look like a nice white sand bed. There is a few spots where the sand is loose for the sharks but other then that its also cement. I'm limitless as 2 where I want to put my corals. I can attach them to the back wall, sides, floor, shelves....... anywhere. Plus i saved sooo much room for the fish. The cement wall is about an inch think if any1 was wondering.

That is awesome! It should look even better after it is covered with coraline algae.
