Has anyone had any experience with these? I want a blue fish that isn't common place, and I think these are 10 times sexier than a purple (yawn). Only place I can find them is online so I would like to hear from someone that has had one before I take the plunge!

They're also a lot cheaper then the purple tangs. I had 1 awhile back. When I got him, he was all yellow with powder blue outlines around the fines . It took him maybe 3or4 months before he started turning blue. He was the only tang I had at the time in a community tank with other smaller fish(40gal.). He ate zucchini, spirulina pellets and red sea weed.

Where is Garland located? I may be able to get you 1 for around $35-$45 here in Houston.

The 45 is with shipping. I found him/it on eBay...seller has 100% positive feedback.

Never bought fish on eBay. I hope you find something local so you don't have to deal with shipping.

yeah, I've bought pods and snails on there before, but never fish.

heh by the end of this semester ill be one of u guys lol, if get all a's i can get another fish tank a 55 or ill be trying to get a 75 to set up as a salt water. i can look in my local fish store too they hav some variety of fish salt and fresh and they hav uncommon to common.

This is an adult once all the yellow is gone.
