Hey guys!

I got 2 new additions to my tank...a yellow and a blue cichlid...the thing is I have no idea of the species exactly. I was told they were both males, since the brighter colored ones are usually males...is this true?

Anyways, they are getting along with my red eared slider, which I was told no species would really get along with...

They seem to want to hide all the time so that stinks.

Any way to tell what kind they are? They are about 1-2 inches long and skinny.

If they are Mbuna they could have color whether they're male or female.
Peacocks, the males get all color'd up while the females stay a drab grayish or brownish color.
If you have one yellow and one blue and they both have stripes ya could have a male and a female of the same kind.
We really can't tell ya what ya have without see'n some pics.
