I was referred by Pitbull as well. He adopted one of my 4" Sunshine Peacock offspring and raved about this site. I have enjoyed reading many posts and thought I should introduce myself. I live in Fort Worth Texas where I enjoy collecting and breeding African Cichlids. I have had cichlid tanks for over the last nine years, but have just recently started breeding and growing. Currently I am raising Red Empress, OB's, Sunshine's, Hap Ahli's and a few Kenyi. So, I will have a few good fish needing a new home from time to time. I am not here to just unload my babies though and look forward to meeting more people interested in this addicting hobby. Look forward to burning time talking fish...

Nice pics. Do you have breeding pairs or small groups? Whats your fav. Cichlid?
Also we have a auction coming up in March .... Might want to get rid of some of the juvies there.

KMX- right now I have a two breeding groups of OB and one group of Hap Ahli's. I had a pair of Red Empress, but now I am raising about 60 of them, and once i have raised the best male of the group I will be in the market for female, or three... I have found breeding groups typically keep everybody happier.

My favorite type would have to be the Ahli's, as their colors are just so rich. Although Red Empress are a close second.

Pitbull actually mentioned the auction, and I will look into that! thx!
