LIFEGARD AQUARIUM FILTER - DOUBLE STAGE (19") CANISTERS Requires independent pump, NOT included These filters are designed for a 200-300 gallon tank Salt or Freshwater filtration, this unit has always been and still is freshwater. 500 gallons per hour, 8-9 gallons per minute. PER EACH BANK 0-30 PSI/Bar Dial Pressure Gauge indicates when to clean/replace cartridge. Automated Air Bleed system eliminates unwanted trapped air. Water is forced through filter pleats under pressure for superior water quality. No channeling. 100% of water passes through pleats and media within internal chamber. Cartridge traps particles down to 20 microns. 5 micron cartridges available for polished water (crystal clear water). Chemical Canisters can hold any pellet media (activated carbon, argonite, Seachems Purigen-socked). With two such canisters I put one of each chemical in to remove all chlorines', dyes, medicines and toxins.
You get.... Two (2) independent filtration banks of: 100 micron canister to 20 micron canister to chemical canister. . .. Total of 4 filter canisters and two chemical canisters. The 100 micron cartridge filters are washable and reusable. The 20 micron cartridge filters can be washed several times but then must be replaced.
Used only 3 months, selling because it is not large enough for my overstocked fish tank. 70+ African Cichlids
LITERATURE You can see the product literature at www.lifegardaquatics.com/products/product.php?id=1
I will not trade for animals, boats, guns or ex-wives. . .. CASH ONLY! $275 (was listed at $400, then $325) includes gauges and automatic air vents ($160 value) I will also throw in the dual heater canisters (you will have to supply your own titantium heaters - will handle up to 500 watts each). Will NOT sell independent canisters but I will sell a single bank for $150 (2 filters + 1 chemical) but no heater modules if only one bank purchased.
