First topic message reminder :

I am now happy to say that after about of month of research and asking around that i have bought my 1st ever canister filter. THE FLUVAL FX-5. I saw it being sold on Amazon for $229 brand new and with free shipping. i had to jump on that price. i will be placing it on my 180 gal. with 2 Emperor 400's. So for all my other FX-5 Lovers, tell me what are the best media to place in the baskets???

i have a few FX5, i bunch of emp 400's, some peng 350's and a couple of sponge filters run by powerheads.

on a 70 gallon with a bunch of fry i have
i drip filter system in the canopy, and FX5, 2 spong filters with over 400 gph powerheads.

but since im currently a drifter i guess you could say im running nothing while most everything is in storage. lol
