Translucent "holes' on Black Moor Tail Empty
PostSubject: Translucent "holes' on Black Moor Tail   Translucent "holes' on Black Moor Tail Icon_minitime2/8/2012, 2:46 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows what the small holes on my black moor's tail are. There are several on the tail. They are a light tan color and you can see through them. I thought fin rot, but the edges of the tail are fine. Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and PH are all good. Water temp is 76F. There is only the one juvenile fish in a 10 gallon tank (I know I'll have to get a bigger one soon). One spot appeared about a week ago, now there are several. I tried to take a picture but couldn't get a clear shot. The wholes are about the size of the head of a pen, but growing larger. Thanks for your help!
