Ok so I noticed I'd contracted red planaria sometime over the summer. Me being me means I just say "Wow I got planaria... I wanted a target anyway that'll fix it!". I knew better than to add livestock to address a problem. In addition to the flatworms I've been battling phosphate problems manifesting as nuissance algae so the tank just looked nasty, and more flatworms. Traditionally fall brings aquarium problems to a head in my house. This is predominantly because I don't have time to properly maintain the reef, and just let the ATO do its thing. Everything that's not a zoanthid and red is a flatworm, except for the cyano on the sandbed, which probably has flatworms on it too..

And after...

This is under blues

Nah... why the hell would I dip? So yeah, I guess I learned that lesson the hard way.

They're just garden variety red planaria. They don't bother anything, just a huge horrible nuissance. My target is FAT and happy tho.

Here he is puttin in work
